O. Ertuğrul ÖNEN – Chairman of the Executive Committee

Following his graduation from Ankara University Law Faculty he started to work as an employee of external transactions in T.C. Ziraat Bankası in 1966. He specialized in foreign exchange for one year. Later, he became assistant inspector in Ziraat Bankası passing a contest examination in 1970. He joined to the Ministry of Trade as an assistant inspector again passing another contest examination in the same year. He became the inspector of the said Ministry then became Deputy Manager of General Directorate of Exports, General Manager of General Directorate of Exports, and Deputy Undersecretary (by proxy) in the body of Undersecretariat for Treasury and Foreign Trade which was established in 1983. He worked abroad for eight years as Commercial Counselor in Hamburg, and Senior Counselor of Economy and Trade in Bonn Embassy. He came back to Turkey in 1992 and performed following works in order: as Deputy Undersecretary in the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, and Undersecretariat of Ministry of Transport. Upon establishing of the Undersecretariat of Foreign Trade he became the first Undersecretary of this authority. He left the public service in 01 November 1995 of his own accord. He made duties as Chairman of the Executive Committee in private sector between 1995 and 2001. He established European Free Zone during same years and became Chairman of the Executive Committee. He presently performs the chairmanships of Turkish Foreign Trade Foundation (TDV) and World Turkish Businessmen Foundation (DÜTİV) that he is founder of them. He is married and has 2 children.

Münir AKSOY-Member of the Executive Committee

He was born in 1948 in Kayseri. Following his graduation from Ankara University Faculty of Political Laws he started to work as a civil-servant in the Ministry of Trade General Secretariat of Foreign Trade in 1970. Following various duties on some levels both in General Directorates of Import and Export then he became Deputy Undersecretary of General Directorate of Foreign Trade. He was in a position of Deputy Commercial Counselor, and Senior Commercial Counselor in Stockholm and London. He also became General Manager of Directorate General of Promotion in the Ministry of Tourism for a period of time. He retired when he was in the position of Deputy Undersecretary in General Directorate of Foreign Trade. He is married and has 1 child.

Dr.Ercüment TÜRKTAN-Yönetim Kurulu Üyesi

1973 yılında Hacettepe Üniversitesi Mühendislik Fakültesi Fizik Bölümü’nden mezun olmuştur. Aynı Üniversite’de verdiği tezler sonucunda 1975 yılında Yüksek Mühendis, 1982 yılında Doktor unvanlarını almıştır. 1975-82 yılları arasında Hacettepe Üniversitesi’nde öğretim üyesi olarak görev yapmıştır. 1988 yılına kadar özel sektörde hizmet vermiş, bu kapsamda A.B.D.’de proje bir yıl liderliği görevi üstlenmiştir. 1988-1993 yılları arasında sırasıyla TESTAŞ A.Ş.’de Tesisler Daire Başkanı; TCDD İşletmesi Genel Müdürlüğü Tesisler Daire Başkanı; Genel Müdür Yardımcısı; Genel Müdür Vekili ve Yönetim Kurulu Başkan Vekili; Türkiye Elektrik Kurumu,Genel Müdür Yardımcısı ve Yönetim Kurulu Üyesi olarak çalışmıştır. Nisan 1995 – Ocak 1996 tarihleri arasında Türk Telekom A.Ş. Kurucu Yönetim Kurulu Üyesi olmuştur. 1993 –1996 arasında Ulaştırma Bakanlığı Müsteşar Yardımcılığı görevini üstlenmiştir; Müsteşar Vekilliğini yürütmüştür. Başbakanlık Müsteşar Yardımcılığı ve Başbakan Müşavirliği görevlerini takiben 1997 yılında emekliye ayrılmıştır. Özelleştirme ve yatırım danışmanlığı yapmıştır.Halen Akkanat Holding İcra Kurulu Üyesi ve Genel Koordinatörüdür. Evli ve bir çocuk babasıdır.
